Representing New Orleans, this rap duo comprised of $crim (aka Scott Arceneaux Jr.) and Ruby da Cherry (aka Aristos Petrou) has worked tirelessly for the past three years to cultivate a loyal following via SoundCloud. Through a dedicated, loyal fan base, SuicideBoys (often stylized as $uicideBoy$) has turned Internet success into commercial success. This success includes the duo’s current headlining tour which includes stops in Vancouver, San Francisco, and New York’s Irving Plaza.
Capitalizing on their recent success, the rappers have garnered coverage from national media outlets including XXL magazine, Genius, and Hot New Hip-Hop. Their efforts have even caught the attention of prolific rap icons like Juicy J, who has stated that he’s producing the duo’s upcoming album. It’s safe to say that the SuicideBoys are poised to blow up in the near future.
Next year, the rappers will head on their overseas tour, the Pre-World War III Tour, which includes stops in Finland, Norway, Germany, and multiple cities in the UK. You’ll also want to keep your eyes and ears open for the duo’s debut full-length album, which had been rumored to drop this month.
