Following his very public and Kanye-like breakdown last year, the rapper has remained productive behind the scenes, making several appearances on fellow label mates’ records including on Cyhi the Prynce’s.
Cyhi recently shared in an interview that Kanye was busy “making 10 beats a day” for every one of his GOOD artists, sharing just some of the artists of which he was aware production was occuring, including Cyhi’s own follow-up to his “No Dope on Sundays” album due out this week.
“He’s doing it for every artist on the label. [Big] Sean’s got one that will be executive produced by him. Pusha’s next album is strictly produced by him. Teyana’s, Kid Cudi’s strictly [by Kanye].”
The news about Big Sean is no surprise, seeing as how all of Sean’s last four albums have had the touch of Kanye and his producers all over each record, but it’s clear from this recent news that his rehabilitation into public life has mostly been his ultra-productive actions behind the scenes with other GOOD artists.
In the interview, it was also revealed Yeezy was working on his new album, his follow-up to 2016’s “The Life of Pablo.”
