This Friday, Oct. 13 at The Vogue Theatre in downtown Broad Ripple, come show your support for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston. HANK FM presents this hurricane benefit concert with seven musical acts, including Christine Nicole, Standout Story, and four other local Indianapolis artists.
Christine Nicole is a modern country and pop musician based in Indiana who has been performing live for the past five years, and started writing songs at the age of fifteen. During this time, Nicole played more than 1,000 shows with her six-piece band. She has opened for acts such as Craig Campbell, Colt Ford, Charlie Worsham, and another Indiana local, Clayton Anderson. She was recently chosen to represent Indianapolis in a nationwide contest held in Nashville, where the winner will land a record deal with Big Machine Label Group.

Standout Story is a local Indianapolis alternative rock band that blends hard-hitting alternative rock with pop sensibilities. Throughout their career, they have shared stages with bands like 30 Seconds To Mars, Panic! At The Disco, Blue October, and more. Standout Story consists of members Joe Miller (vocals), Josh Hurt (guitar), Mike Myer (bass), and Chase Allen (drums). The band recently released their newest EP, “Waves” this past year. Backroad 39 is a country and southern gothic group based in Indianapolis. Keller and Cole

The last artist to take the stage at the Halloween for Houston show will be Indianapolis native Chris Wilson. Wilson returned to Indianapolis to re-launch his music career after spending three years living in Ireland. Along with plenty of live music from local Indianapolis talent, Halloween for Houston will also include a costume contest and silent auction. Proceeds will go to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas. The show starts at 8:00 pm, and the cost of admission is $10. It’ll be a night of good music for a great cause.
