Lauren Alaina recently released her new single, “Doin’ Fine.” Now she is releasing a new video to go along with that single, and it is a great one. The song is biographical and talks a lot about Alaina’s life and how she is faring these days.
In a press release regarding the song, Alaina had this to say.
“When a really big life-changing event takes place, you feel a flood of emotions,” she said. “Some days you cry. Some days you’re angry and some days you’re happy. It was really important to me to use the three and a half minutes of the video to share all of the emotions I felt while watching my parents go through a divorce, seeing my dad through rehab, and my adjusting to a new life in Nashville. Life is full of unpredictability, and so are we. It’s okay to not be okay all of the time, but we have to get to a place where we are ‘Doin’ Fine.'”
You can take a look at the new video at the top of the article.
All in all, the song and the video are both beautiful. The song fits Alaina’s beautiful voice well, and she sings the song confidently. She does an outstanding job showing the feelings she had during different points of her life throughout this song. It is beautiful to see her growth.
Alaina released the new single as part of her sophomore album “The Road Less Travelled.” The singer got her start on American Idol where she was runner-up on the 10th season. She lost to fellow country singer, Scotty McCreery.
She has recently been on tour with Luke Bryan as part of his “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour.” She still has a few dates left on her tour, which will continue through Dec 7. Check out her full dates, here.
