This Saturday, Oct. 7, The Mousetrap Bar and Grill brings Conrank and The Big Smoke Fall Tour to Indianapolis. Joining Conrank on Saturday night will be Indigo Child, Cam Miller and Sweater Disco, MAD Pritch, and Magnetic.
Conrank is a UK-born DJ and producer who got his start beat-boxing in London during the peak of the grime, hip-hop scene. After striking out on his own as an artist, Conrank wrote music for commercial campaigns, which included companies such as Levi’s. He completed his entry into the professional music scene as a DJ with his first live performance in 2010 in London, which was well-received. Conrank then relocated to Shanghai, China, where he lived and made a name for himself as a producer over the course of several years.

Indigo Child is a local dubstep and EDM artist from Indianapolis who started playing music early in life as a classically trained violinist. After the violin, he learned to play bass, and later started experimenting with production. He was also featured on EDM Chicago for his remix of Dirt Monkey’s “Super Saiyan” feat. Harvey J. Cam Miller is a DJ from Indianapolis who describes the dance music he creates as “weird, but relatable.” Sweater Disco is based in Bloomington, Indiana, and performs “non-wack club tunes played non-seriously.” Together, the two will play back to back sets at the Mousetrap Saturday night. Magnetic is local Indianapolis Electronic/Dance artist and DJ, also known as Adam Langolf. His live performances blend original tracks, remixes, and favorites for a completely unique set for each show. Opening the show on Saturday will be another Bloomington artist, MAD Pritch. Pritch will be returning to the Mousetrap with experimental sounds and drippy bass. During the opening act, MAD Pritch will be joined with live visuals by Double Negative Design. You can find MAD Pritch on Facebook.
With such a long lineup for Saturday night’s show at the Mousetrap, it’s well worth a quick stop for a beer and some live music. The show starts at 9:00 pm, and tickets are only $7 .
