Lakshman Singh Bisht (Salman Khan) is an abnormal child and keeps being bullied by some children. They call him as Tubelight. He has a younger Bharat (Sohail Khan), who protects him from the bullies. During school days, the children are taught about faith, courage and belief by none other than Mahatma Gandhi. India is freed from the British Rule. Lakshman’s father was a bus driver and dies in a drunken driving accident. After losing his mother as well, the 2 brothers are left alone in the world. Gandhi also gets murdered. But, the brothers’ love for each other grows stronger. One day, they sing this song.

Song: The lyrics of this song were penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music was scored by Pritam.

The brothers praise each other and celebrate the brotherhood they share.

Video: Cinematography is by Aseem Mishra. Dance choreography is by Shabina Khan-Remo D’ Souza. Actually, in the movie, the titles run during this song. This is the official promo video. That is why they have removed the titles, I suppose.

The video opens with both the brothers playing cricket. Salman Khan begins the song. They travel on a bus together. At one spot, they dance together. They have already got down from the bus. The common villagers also dance with them. The brothers click photographs at a studio.

Artists: The playback is sung by Kamaal Khan, Nakash Aziz, Dev Negi and Tushar Joshi and the onscreen performances are by Salman Khan and Sohail Khan.

Cultural Influence: This typical filmi song is a brotherhood song, one that is seen rarely in Bollywood, nowadays. The song and the artists are good. The video is watchable for the same.
