Thomas Rhett isn’t wasting any time getting new music out to his fans. It seems like just yesterday he was releasing “Craving You” with Maren Morris, but he’s already releasing a new single, “Grave.”
The song is a romantic and moving one. It talks about how he plans to love his significant other even after he has died. “Baby, what we got won’t ever die … I’m gonna take it to the grave with me,” the lyrics read.
All in all, the song has some simple lyrics and a smooth beat. It’s a great song to pair with some of his fast-moving songs we already love. Instead of jazzing up this song, Rhett allows the words of the song and his voice to make it into something special. Throughout the tune, a chorus of background singers joins him, which is a really nice touch.

This is the final track on this Life Changes album. The new album is due out on Sept 8. Per The Boot, the album is bound to be an interesting one.
“There’s a lot of songs that feel very nostalgic and, lyric-wise, talk a lot about being in high school and college, and how I got to this point in life. And a lot of songs about how life has drastically changed over the last few years,” Rhett said.
Life is definitely changing for the country music superstar. He’s quickly becoming one of the most recognized and popular male country artists out there. In addition to that, he and his wife just added to his family by adopting a daughter and having one biologically. His growing family has been a source of inspiration for many of the songs he’s now in the process of writing.
