Shania Twain just released the comeback album of the century. But, that doesn’t mean that Twain doesn’t have more to do when it comes to re-entering the world of country music. The star recently announced that she will head out on tour next year.
The tour is titled “Now,” which is also the title of the superstar’s upcoming album.
She filled fans in on the tour details on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last week. While there, she also performed a song from her new album, “Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed.” Naturally, fans fell in love with it almost immediately. Two other songs from that same album are also available for download now.
Both “Life’s About to Get Good,” and “Poor Me,” are ones fans heard from the singer recently.
Here’s a peek at the performance of her latest single:
According to Rolling Stone, Twain plans to take on a hefty tour schedule next year. She starts in May and carries on, almost nightly, through the first of August. She’s using the tour to reconnect with her fans and to promote music from her new album.
For many, including Twain, seeing her hit the road again is really a surprise. The singer when through quite a few health issues, which wound up keeping her away from the music she loves so much. Thankfully, doctors seem to have that problem under control at this point.
Twain’s first album in over a decade is due out on Sept. 29. You can expect for it to sell a lot of copies in the first few days. Twain has always been a staple in modern country music and has set the stage for many a female country singer. It’s great to see her back on stage again after such an arduous journey.
