Showtime just announced that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will join the lineup this year. On November 17 at 9 pm, the couple’s hit tour documentary, “Soul2Soul” will air on the network. Fans will get to see behind the scenes shots, hear interviews from both McGraw and Hill, and watch the concerts up close and personal.

Showtime has featured many concert series over the years. However, this is the first time a country music artist will be part of the lineup. Mumford and Sons, The Eagles, U2, David Bowie, and even The Beach Boys, have had their own music documentaries in the past.

For the first country music documentary, McGraw and Hill are excellent choices for Showtime. Most fans consider them the king and queen of country music and they have numerous fans between the two of them. Fans of both will love getting to see this intimate look at their daily lives through this particular program.

This is the third set of McGraw and Hill’s “Soul2Soul” tour. The first took place in the year 2000, followed by a tour in 2006 and 2007. The second tour was so popular that it was the highest-grossing concert series that year. This third is an 80-date tour in honor of the record-breaking tour series ten years later. It proves that the couple is just as popular as they were in the 1990s.

Over the years, both McGraw and Hill have created some fantastic music, both individually and together. McGraw has sold over 50 million records and is the recipient of numerous awards. He’s also wound up with an astonishing 43 number one hits.

Hill, on the other hand, has sold 30 million records with only 7 studio records produced. She has won 5 Grammy’s for her music and an innumerable number of AMAs, People’s Choice, ACMs and CMAs. The couple also has several beautiful duets together and are currently working on a duet album due out later this year.

Naturally, with all the great music the two have between them, the “Soul2Soul” tour was hugely successful. The majority of the cities sold out quickly, and tons of fans showed up for the other dates. McGraw and Hill definitely didn’t let their fans down with their performance either.

Along with a ten-piece band, they made sure to put on a performance that would leave a lasting impression on their fans. They threw a lot of their most famous songs, as well as new ones from their upcoming duet album, into the mix. Needless to say, fans left the concerts feeling happy and entertained.

Currently, there are still a few dates remaining on the “Soul2Soul” tour. It wraps up the end of October in Brooklyn, New York. A lot of other popular country music stars will join them for their final dates. Eric Paslay, Brandy Clark, Cam, Locash and Margo Price will all perform with them on specific dates. If you want to check out the remainder of the dates, look at the couple’s website.
