Betty Who heads to The Hi-Fi

Later this month, Australian singer Betty Who will head to The Hi-Fi to play a headlining show alongside opener Geographer.

Betty Who, whose real name is Jessica Anne Newham, first broke airwaves in 2014 with “Somebody Loves You.” The dance pop track was part of Newham’s debut album Take Me When You Go. Her 2016 release “I Love You Always Forever” is both another club banger and sweet love song. Currently, you can hear Newham’s “Human Touch” dominating airplay on top 40 stations across the country. It’s vocally and sonically softer than her previous releases but mixes guitar riffs with manufactured beats. The Valley is Newham’s second full-length release and dropped back in March 2017.

Geographer will open for Newham at her Hi-Fi show on August 28. The three piece will perform an eclectic blend of indie and electro-pop jams. Singer Jackson Harris is also scheduled to perform a set.

Tickets can be purchased online via TicketFly and range in price from $17-$199. Doors open at 8 p.m. on August 28 and the show will begin at 9 p.m.
