Both the families arrange Rajesh and Pooja’s marriage. Rajesh and Pooja like each other from the first glance, both being painters. Beginning from the start, Nisha and Prem keep bickering light-heartedly with each other.
Rajesh and Pooja’s engagement is announced. Nisha and her parents visit Kailashnath’s home for a ritual and the senior family members sing this song.

The video begins as Reema Lagoo requests Alok Nath to sing a song. All the men cheer and Reema Lagoo blushes. They are all sitting on the floor, men and women in separate groups, facing each other. Alok Nath plays the harmonium and begins the song. Anupam Kher is on the dholak. Salman Khan is making some dance movements, sitting behind Alok Nath.
Himani Shivpuri and Bindu look at Reema Lagoo, teasingly. Satish Shah, who plays Alok Nath’s doctor and Himani Shivpuri’s husband in the movie, stands up to perform a few dance steps. Ajit Vachani joins him in the dance. All the ladies including Madhuri Dixit clap their hands. Anupam Kher also makes some dance movements while sitting with the other men.
Salman Khan approaches Himani Shivpuri to bring her between the 2 groups. Sahila Chadha brings Madhuri Dixit also in between the 2 groups. Madhuri Dixit performs a few dance steps. Salman Khan strums a kind of string instrument. Madhuri Dixit is impressed, but, acts as if she isn’t.
Just before this song, she has seen Mohnish Bahl’s painting of Salman Khan playing this instrument and she had teased him if he had just posed for the painting. Madhuri Dixit and Sahila Chadha take the harmonium to Reema Lagoo and insist on her singing the song further. Reema Lagoo begins to sing a trifle shyly.
Anupam Kher plays the clarinet. Reema Lagoo glances at the photo of Renuka Shahane and she begins to sing about her. Both Reema Lagoo and Alok Nath have tears in their eyes. Madhuri Dixit’s eyes also fill up with tears. Lakshmikant Berde distributes sweets to everybody. The song peters out and the video ends as Bindu makes Reema Lagoo eat some sweets and hugs her.
