Their first sports event is scuba diving and their instructor is Laila (Katrina Kaif). Post a session of scuba diving and a brief halt in Bunol for the La Tomatina festival, Arjun and Laila come closer to each other.
When the friends take on a further journey toward their second destination, Laila follows them on a bike and catches up with them. Arjun and Laila have realized that they are attracted to each other and soon after she leaves, the friends are seen singing and dancing to the tune of this song at their hotel’s restaurant area.
Song: The music of this song was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and the lyrics were penned by Javed Akhtar.
Some of the lyrics are in Spanish and the gist is, “Who are you? Where have you been? I searched all over the heaven and earth for you. You reach here now, so suddenly?” and the gist of the Hindi lyrics is, “Whatever you said, I did not understand. But then, I don’t know why, I felt good after listening to you, Senorita.”
Video: Cinematography is by Carlos Catalan. Dance choreography is by Vaibhavi Merchant-Bosco-Caesar.
The video begins as the flamenco dancer spreads a Japanese fan and uses it as a prop while beginning the dance on the music, which has already begun. Farhaan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Hritik Roshan come to the dance floor walking with a spring in their steps. The dancer begins the song in Spanish. Farhaan Akhtar joins her in the song and the dance.
When the other 2 actors begin to dance, suddenly there is silence. Everybody looks at them. The music again resumes as suddenly as it had stopped. They all begin to dance together. Several dancers join them. But, the selection of the dancers and the choreography is so good that the place does not look crowded. Many people are blowing bubbles into the air.
The music ends abruptly and the video also ends there.
Artists: The playback of this song was sung by Maria del Mar Fernández (debut in films), Farhaan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Hritik Roshan and the onscreen performances are by Hritik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhaan Akhtar and others.
Cultural Influence: This typically Bollywood song represents the Spanish culture and the dance is flamenco. The song and the artists are good. The video is watchable for the same.
