If you’re looking to get your hands on a piece of history, Loretta Lynn has a deal for you: Her classic 1977 Eagle Tour Bus is on eBay looking for a new home.
Over the years, the coach has gotten a lot of use. RTT News says the bus was once owned by Lynn’s guitarist as well as the band Badfinger; Sugarland even used it for their music video, “Baby Girl.” Yet while it’s gone through many hands, the listing says it’s still in great shape, and has always been well maintained.
Lynn’s bus is currently owned by the 7 Degrees of Change Foundation. They help with global literacy and promote a love of learning. They say that when they got the bus, they had no idea of its rich history.
“We had no idea about the musical heritage until I started researching,” Brad Barth of 7 Degrees of Change told Saving Country Music. “It has been an interesting project to say the least!”
Whoever winds up with the bus is in for a treat: Along with its fun history, it sleeps at least 8, if not more. It also has a music system, 2 DVD players, 2 flat screen TVs, surround speakers and much more. It even has a private bedroom and apartment style air conditioners. All in all, the bus is 40 feet of sheer wonder.
This piece of history is listed on eBay for just over $29,000, but there’s still a little time before the auction comes to a close.
