Song: Lyrics are by Jalees Sherwani and music is by Sajid-Wajid.
The man praises himself that he is fearless, strong, like hard rock, always in front, etc. He calls himself everything a typical hero of a Bollywood movie is expected to be.
Video: Cinematography is by Mahesh Limaye. Dance choreography is by Ganesh Acharya-Farah Khan-Mudassar Khan-Raju Khan-Radhika Rao-Vijay Sapru-Rajeev Soorti.
The video begins with Salman Khan coming from the direction of the rising sun. Some girls and men begin to dance. Salman Khan joins them in the song-and-dance sequence. Salman Khan began the trend of moving his trousers in a particular way with this song. That the step looks ridiculous and vulgar – would be an understatement!
In a wrestling match, when Salman Khan decides to beat the winner and goes on to remove his shirt, the winner urinates in the ground making the audience laugh. In an athletics event, one man makes the man before him stumble and fall in a bid to get to the first position. But, Salman Khan beats him up and presents the trophy to the sincere guy, who had stumbled.
The song and the video end as he is shown as if holding the sun in his fist. We know that this is not really possible and has been shot with no parallax between the hand and the sun.
Artists: The playback has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Wajid and the onscreen performances are by Salman Khan and others.
Cultural Influence: This is the typical filmi song where the hero heaps praise on himself. Sounds very narcissistic. But, that is the way the movies are made today. 🙁 The song and the artists are fine. The video is watchable for the same.
