Song: The lyrics of this song were penned by Rajinder Kishen and the music was composed by Chitragupt.
The gist of the song is, “Go fly away, dear bird because this country is not yours anymore. The life of that branch on which you lived is over. Previously, you could change the branches as you liked. But, the tree itself is no more yours. You will have to leave now.”
Video: Cinematography is by S Maruti Rao.
The video opens with the fall of night and a teenage boy walking fast on his way home. Several birds are flying in the sky, also returning home. The song begins in the background. The boy is still walking toward his destination. The camera also moves with him. He finally reaches his home. He gives the medicine that he has in his hand to Durga Khote, who pours it into a glass and gives to the patient. The song ends there.
Artists: The playback of this song was sung by Mohammad Rafi.
Cultural Influence: This is a typical filmi sad song, symbolically depicting death and the release of the soul from the tree of the body. The song and the artists are good. The video is watchable for the same.
