Movie: This song appeared in 1957 thriller Baarish (Monsoons, Rains) produced by K H Kapadia and directed by Shankar Mukherjee under the banner of Alankar Chitra. The movie starred late Dev Anand, late Nutan, Kum Kum, etc.
Ramu (Dev Anand) is a carefree man and is sustained by his brother Gopal (Nana Palsikar). Gopal is soon killed by his boss and Ramu decides to find the killer. The boss tells Ramu’s best friend Mohan (Anwar Hussain) to tell Ramu to stay away from his affairs. Mohan sends Ramu to his village to give his father Rs.500 for his medical treatment. When Ramu reaches the village, he is confronted by Chanda (Nutan), who sings this song.

The video opens with Nutan abruptly beginning the song. Dev Anand bumps into a village girl holding water pots on her head, who drops them the moment he crashes into her. He kicks the metal pot and moves on. Nutan follows him.
He lights a cigarette and moves toward her to frighten her. She hits his hat with a sling and it flies off. He sits below a large tree and she continues the song. He has his hat covering his face and he is apparently asleep. She tries to tease him again.
But, he catches hold of her hand and hits his belt on her back. She stops singing in fright. The video ends there.
