Movie: This song appeared in 1972 social drama Rakhi Aur Hathkadi (Rakhi and handcuffs) directed by S M Sagar and produced by S Noor under the banner of Kala Enterprises. The movie starred late Ashok Kumar, Asha Parekh, Vijay Arora, Danny Dengzongpa, Kabir Bedi, Helen, etc.
Kiran (Asha Parekh) is always troubled by another student Raja (Danny Dengzongpa) in her college. Prakash (Vijay Arora) always comes to her rescue in front of the principal. Raja gets expelled from college. The next instant Prakash invites Kiran for a picnic and she agrees to come. Prakash tells his friends to reach the picnic venue a little late so that he can tell her that he has fallen in love with her. Kiran overhears the conversation and at the venue acts as if she is irked at his behavior. But immediately, she also begins to laugh. It is at this time that Prakash sings this song and Kiran joins him in it.

He gets miffed and moves away. She pacifies him and they move on together. The song peters off and the video ends with the shot of the mid-day sun.
