Neeraj (Manoj Kumar) and Anita (Sadhana) are in love with each other. This is not acceptable to her father (Sajjan). It is about this time that Neeraj sings this song.

Manoj Kumar is seen sitting on a tree and singing the song. Sadhana keeps looking for him. She approaches a floor lamp and switches it off. He continues the song. She finally finds him on the tree. She moves out into the balcony through the French Windows and approaches him.

The song peters off and the video ends there.
