Jerrod Niemann’s song “God Made a Woman” was already a hit in the making. But, when he released his beautiful video for the single, it sealed the deal. What makes the video even better is that he chose to include his own wife in it to make it really special.
Niemann spends the video chasing his wife through the desert. Eventually, the two meet on a deserted highway, which fits perfectly with the words of the song. The song tells you everything that will change once you fall in love.
“God Made a Woman,” Niemann’s first single from his 4th studio album, was directed by Ryan Hamblin. The crew shot it in Marfa, Texas. This is also his first album on his new record label, Curb Records. He signed with them in 2016 after leaving Arista Nashville, which had been his label for many years.
While this single is currently available on iTunes, the full album won’t be available until later on this year. In the meantime, Niemann is busy taking his song on tour. Recently, he tasked himself with crashing a few weddings in Las Vegas and singing his hit song.
According to Fox News, Niemann said, “Love is in the air and it is the marriage capital of the world. Now that I have realized that there’s a lot more to Las Vegas and life than just being a fool, you know, I’m married now so I thought maybe I could go and crash some of these weddings with my ‘non-tourage’.”
Naturally, Niemann’s wife was along for the venture. The couple took the song all throughout Vegas and eventually wound up at A Little White Chapel where they renewed their wedding vows. Nieman is currently touring throughout the spring and summer so there are plenty of dates you can check him out for yourself.
