Eric Church’s latest album “Mr. Misunderstood” is a huge hit for the star. In 2016, it received tons of praise and earned Church the Album of the Year award at the CMA Awards. Now, Church is releasing his fourth single from the album, “Round Here Buzz.”

The song was co-written by Eric Church, Jeff Hyde and Luke Dick, and produced by Jay Joyce. Now, Church is telling the world the story behind the song and how difficult it was to get it perfect for his record.

According to a new behind the scenes video, Church says, “We changed it some and tweaked it some. The song needed to just be played. I felt like it had been kinda written and had been boxed in a little bit with everybody saying, ‘It’s a hit song.’ The soul of the song, to me, was just us playing it.”

In the end, Church and his crew got it right–it’s a fabulous song. Take a look at a little more of the behind the scenes video below.

Before this great single, Church released his “Kill a Word” song, which went on to become a top ten hit for the singer. He’s also currently touring a crazy schedule where he plays for three hours every night without an opening act.

While Eric Church is understandably busy these days, he did take out time just the other day to meet up with his doppelganger wax figure from Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. The latest attraction is set to open up in Nashville on April 14. The meeting took place at Church’s sold-out Staples Center show. Check out the meeting for yourself, here.
