Movie: This song appeared in 1987 family drama Himmat Aur Mehnat (Courage and Effort) produced by B S Shaad and directed by K Bapaiah under the banner of Brar Productions. The movie starred Jeetendra, Sridevi, Poonam Dhillon, late Shammi Kapoor, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Satyen Kapoo, Asrani, etc. The Hindi movie is a remake of Telugu Pachani Samskaram.
Jyoti (Sridevi) is a nurse and is hired by a wealthy man, Madan (Shammi Kapoor). Soon, she wins his confidence and is allowed to virtually run the entire household. Madan’s son Vijay Kumar (Jeetendra) returns from New York and sexually molests Jyoti. But, he, eventually, marries her. They sing this song in a dream sequence on their wedding night.
