Movie: This song appears in 1968 Sagar Art International’s hit spy thriller Ankhen (The Eyes) directed and produced by Ramanand Sagar. The movie starred Dharmendra, Mala Sinha, late Lalita Pawar, late Jeevan, late Madan Puri, late Mahmood, late Dhumal, Kumkum, etc.
The movie is set in the post-independence India, which is facing terrorist attacks in Assam, resulting in several casualties and deaths. Some concerned citizens, not working with the government, come together to do something to stop the bloodshed. After an associate is shot dead, Sunil Mehra (Dharmendra) has to travel to Beirut to take over. His sister Sunanda (Kumkum), while conversing with him, gets him to reveal that there was a girl, Meenakshi Mehta (Mala Sinha), who would admire him. He talks about the time he had gone to Japan for training in a flashback.
In Beirut, Sunil meets Meenakshi again and even, another female admirer Princess Zenab (Zeb Rehman). When Meenakshi sees him with Zenab in a party, she sings this song.

Sujit Kumar is drinking from a goblet. Zeb Rehman smiles. She jumps down from the bar stool and her shawl slips off her shoulder. Dharmendra adjusts it for her. Mala Sinha sings about it. Dharmendra takes his hands away hesitantly. Dharmendra and Zeb Rehman move away to another place on the dance floor. Mala Sinha continues with the song. The video ends with the song.
