Movie: This song appeared in 1965 hit suspense thriller Gumnaam (Anonymous or Unknown) produced by N N Sippy and directed by Raja Nawathe under the banner of Prithvi Pictures. The movie starred Manoj Kumar, late Nanda, late Pran, Helen, late Mahmood, late Dhumal, Manmohan, late Madan Puri, late Tarun Bose, etc.
8 people including Asha (Nanda) win a trip to a foreign country in a chartered plane. The others include Barrister Rakesh (Pran), Dharamdas (Dhumal), Kishan (Manmohan), Dr. Acharya (Madan Puri), Madhusudan Sharma (Tarun Bose) and Kitty Kelly (Helen). When they reach an island, the pilot informs them that the plane has to undergo an emergency landing on the island. When all of them including the plane’s crew member Anand (Manoj Kumar) get down from the plane, it takes off stranding all the passengers on the island.
While they try to find a way out, they hear an ominous laughter and then a lady singing a song. They venture into the jungle and find a bungalow cared by the butler (Mahmood). The butler has been informed that a group of people is expected there. The group receives a letter from the butler written by the person, who had organized the plot to collect these people there. Soon, Kitty Kelly decides to go for a swim and sings this song while she does so.

The video opens with the shot of the rocky seaside. Helen runs toward the receding waves. Pran is sitting on the beach breaking his cigarette. Nanda is also sitting there thinking. Madan Puri is seen smoking his pipe. Helen begins to sing and dance. Helen, Nanda, Pran and Madan Puri clap their hands taking the song forward.
Helen makes Pran stand on his feet and escorts him to a shaded chair, where he sits down. Pran drinks from his hipflask. Helen runs on the rocks. Pran approaches her staggering in his intoxication. Helen lies down on a rubber raft and Pran pulls it into the water. She comes back to dry land. The music rises to a crescendo with everybody clapping. The video ends as Helen takes a bow.
