Movie: This song appeared in 1973 action thriller produced and directed by C V Sridhar under the banner of Chithrakala Pictures. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jeetendra, Hema Malini, Bindu, Prem Chopra, etc.
Dharamchand is the Chairperson of Olympic Bank. The bank is going to have the final audit at the end of the month. Soon, his daughter Hema (Hema Malini) finds his dead body in his bedroom. She informs her brother Ratan (Amitabh Bachchan), who finds a suicide note in his father’s bedroom stating that he had embezzled 2 million rupees from the bank. Unable to repay it, he was committing suicide. Ratan decides not to reveal anything about the suicide note to anyone including Hema to protect the reputation of their family.
A blackmailer Shekhar approaches Ratan asking him to participate in a robbery in that bank 2 days before the audit. Ratan assists him in the robbery. All documents are burnt leaving no trace of his father’s involvement in the embezzlement. The only problem is that Hema has seen the robbers in action and would be able to identify a female member of the gang, Shobha (Bindu). She informs Ratan, but he tells her to keep quiet about it. Then, Ratan’s friend Sagar arrives from Delhi for a visit. Sagar and Hema fall in love. She gets to know that he is with the intelligence department and was handling the bank robbery case.
Sagar tries to get closer to the gang by hooking Shobha. Soon, Sagar and Hema disguise themselves as village dancers to visit Shobha in her bungalow. They perform this song and dance sequence and stealthily exchange a very important clue – a chain with a locket that Shobha is wearing with one that they had.
Song: The music of this song was composed by Lakshmikant-Pyarelal and the lyrics were penned by Rajinder Kishan.
The girl requests her beloved to get her a choli (blouse) from Jaipur. He replies that he would gift her not just the choli but the whole city of Jaipur.

The video opens with Bindu standing on a staircase and Jeetendra approaching her to take the locket she has. When he comes down, Hema Malini wears the locket Bindu had given. Hema Malini begins the song with the dance. Jeetendra, then, joins her in the song and dance sequence. She also dances with some musicians in their group.
Hema Malini exchanges Bindu’s locket with the one Jeetendra had brought with him without Bindu suspecting anything. The video ends with Bindu appreciating the performance.
