On January 27, Brantley Gilbert released his long-anticipated third country music album of his career, “The Devil Don’t Sleep.” On the album, fans get several different versions of Gilbert’s music. For example, you get the classic Gilbert sound with the hard-hitting hits “Bro Code” and “Bullet in a Bonfire.” On the flip side, you also get the softer side of Gilbert, with his “Three Feet of Water” song about water baptism.

These songs are especially exciting for fans who have waited two years since his last album release. Gilbert says that he put his own personal touch on the new album. He took the time to write or co-write every song on the album and poured a lot of his own life into the music.

A lot of that music involved his new wife, Amber, who he wed in 2015. Gilbert says that his new bride is the inspiration behind much of his music. It’s her love for him that makes some of his most powerful songs.

Now that the album has been released, Brantley Gilbert is preparing to launch his The Devil Don’t Sleep tour, which will take off in February, in response to his album release.
