Song: The music of this song was composed by Shankar-Jaikishan and the lyrics were penned by Shailendra.

The gist of the song is that the man has fallen for the girl, without even seeing her even once. According to him, this is love. He does not even know what kind of girl she is. It is his opinion that if he hadn’t fallen in love with her, life would have been easier. The evening brought messages of love, every day. He says that if she had also come he would have felt good. The habitation of the heart would have been established; meaning their love would have been successful. His love is impatient to meet her. He is waiting for her since a long time.

Video: Cinematography is by Dilip Gupta.

The video opens with Dev Anand coming out of the railway platform to the road. The music has already started. He walks alone on the road in his characteristic swinging style with the single bag he has in his hand. The terraces are seen with plantations of tea. A group of women is seen walking in the opposite direction on the road. He unintentionally drops the photo of Asha Parekh on the ground and picks it up. Then, he begins the song.

Some women get up from behind some plantation bushes enjoying his song. He continues walking and singing along the path between the plantations. Some women wave to him and he waves to them in return. A woman has a child in her arms. Dev Anand kisses the child and plays with her plait before moving ahead. The child laughs as he moves ahead.

Some distance later, Asha Parekh comes out of the fog dancing and surprises him. He goes closer to her and she disappears back into the fog. He sees her again coming out from behind a tree and smiling at him. When they get closer in the fog, she again disappears and he finds he is hugging his bag instead of her. He realizes that it is only an illusion only when he kisses the bag. He opens his eyes and the video ends there.

Artists: The playback of this song was sung by Mohammad Rafi Sahab and the onscreen performance was by Dev Anand.

He picks it up and sings this song saying that without seeing her even once he has fallen in love with her. This can happen in real life also. But, there will not be a song. The guy might think or whistle this song. The song is good and the video is watchable several times.
