He also tells Dharma if ever he wanted to visit the city, he would be given a job by them.

When farming did not give him enough earning, Dharma visits the city to be employed by Ajit. Soon, the police raids Ajit’s factory and arrests Dharma for smuggling gold and drugs. Ajit gives a false testimony that he had transferred his warehouse in the name Dharma and did not have anything to do with the smuggling. With all evidence against him, Dharma is sentenced to a year’s imprisonment. When he returns, his sister Laxmi has been raped by Sujit and his wife has lost the ability to conceive due to an accident.

Dharma kills Sujit and Suresh, without leaving any evidence. With the money they had, he starts his own business and smuggling racket. Since his son Raju’s life was in danger, he is sent to London for studies. When Raju (Amitabh Bachchan again) returns, he is in love with Geeta Verma (Neetu Singh), his classmate in London. They hug each other and continue the song. Neetu Singh sees the bodyguards coming their way and gets alarmed. The lead pair begins to run again all through the large garden. The 2 bodyguards separate looking for them. When they cannot be seen, Amitabh Bachchan continues with the song.
