It highlighted the importance of education in Muslims as Mahatma Gandhi preached. The college-educated heroine preferred teaching as a tutor to earn her living rather than taking to her mother’s profession of prostitution.

The movie opens with the scene of a community hall, where many college students have gathered and insist that their favorite singer Shabana (Leena Chandavarkar) come to the stage. Shabana sings this song at this time.

Song: The music of this song was composed by Lakshmikant-Pyarelal and the lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi.

The girl questions the behavior of people, when they fall in love and why they do so. The reason why she questions them is that when a person falls in love with someone, they get only unfaithfulness in return, according to her. But still, they fall in love and the story repeats with someone else.

Video: Cinematography is by Munir Khan.

The video opens with the bust shot of Leena Chandavarkar wearing a dark blue color sharara. She begins the song. The camera shoots her from different angles. The video ends with the long shot of Leena Chandavarkar as she finishes the song.

Artists: The playback of this song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and the onscreen performances are by Leena Chandavarkar and others.

Cultural Influence: The heroine sings a song in a college function asking, why do people fall in love? The song is good and the video is watchable for the song.
