Movie: This song appeared in 1969 hit family drama Do Raaste (2 Roads) produced and directed by Raj Khosla under the banner of Raj Khosla Films. The movie starred late Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, late Balraj Sahni, Kamini Kaushal, Prem Chopra, Bindu (debut), etc.
The Gupta family is traditional and embodied with respect for the elders and dignity for the self. Mrs. Gupta (Veena) has a step-son Navendu (Balraj Sahni). Their family consists of his wife Madhvi (Kamini Kaushal), Birju Gupta (Prem Chopra), Satyen (Rajesh Khanna) and the youngest daughter Geeta (Kumud Bole). Navendu also has a son Raju (Junior Mahmood). Alloppee Prasad (Asit Sen) and his wife Bhagwanti (Leela Mishra) puts forward the proposal of their daughter Neelu (Bindu) for Birju and the Gupta family accepts it. Neelu has a younger sister, the stunning and beautiful Reena (Mumtaz). Reena and Satyen study in the same college. The collegeans decide to go for a picnic and some of the boys ask Satyen how to patao girls (convince a girl into falling in love with them). He explains that girls fall for the praises that a boy heaps on them and sings this song for Reena.

The video opens with the close-up shot of a girl wearing dark sunglasses. Then, they show some more girls with dark sunglasses. The next shot is of Mumtaz. Rajesh Khanna removes her sunglasses and begins the song. The camera is moving in circles with the lead pair one at a time. Then the friends of the lead pair tell something in each other’s ear. When that reaches Rajesh Khanna, he tells that to Mumtaz and she blushes, covering her face.
The others come together to dance in a circle. Mumtaz moves rapidly from there to bump into Rajesh Khanna. He tries to come closer to her, but she lifts the veil of her dupatta in front of her face. He moves it away and she moves away blushing. Mumtaz’s sunglasses are lying on the ground. The video ends with Rajesh Khanna lifting and placing the sunglasses on Mumtaz’s nose.
