The video opens with Dev Anand coming in front of the camera with a butterfly net. He is looking for Waheeda Rehman. She is on a large hay stack and jumps to the ground. She is wearing a scarlet salwar kameez and he is wearing a scarlet sweater over beige trousers and shirt. She leaves her dupatta on a hay stack and hides behind it. He follows her. Both have already begun singing.

He pulls her dupatta toward him. She climbs a ladder to a hay stack. She stands on the hay stack and Dev Anand throws her dupatta to her. She catches it and places it around her neck. She slips down from the hay stack. He hides inside a hay stack and she looks around for him. His butterfly net, sticking out of the hay stack, is indicative of his location.

She is lying on a bamboo formation on which some hay has been placed. He comes and leans on her knee. Fire and rushing water are shown. Then, all the butterflies, he had caught, fly away. Both run behind them to catch them again. Soon, they hold hands and hug. He places his cap on her head. She takes it and places it on his head. The video ends with him laughing in happiness.
