Paras (Mahipal) is the son of the Senapati (Jugal Kishore) and is lost when his ship is hit by a storm at sea. Paras is found by a poor villager, who brings him up as his own son. He grows up to become an expert swordsman and singer. One day, he meets the princess (Geetanjali) and falls in love with her. The Emperor (Manher Desai) gets to know about him and summons him to sing for him. The Emperor has decided to kill the singer during felicitation post event. This is the song that Paras sings.

Suddenly, the pace of the music as well as the dance increases. The pace increases still further but Geetanjali keeps pace with the music. When it reaches a crescendo, she cannot keep pace and falls on the sitar to stop Paras from playing it.
