Song: The lyrics of this song were penned by Shailendra and the music was composed by S D Burman.

The girl wants to know, who began the song; while the man wants to know, whose hair has been let loose so that the world is filled with fragrance. They praise each other throughout the song.

Video: Cinematography was by Ratan L Nagarkar and the operative cameraman was Rustom S Engineer.

The video begins with the moon moving behind the clouds and Asha Parekh sleeping on her bed. The dream sequence begins with the day sky with white clouds. The camera pans a hilly area, where there is sparse vegetation. Tall trees are interspersed with bare ground. Asha Parekh wearing a white sari is seen among the trees. Then, they show her close-up shot.

She smiles and Pradeep Kumar comes along there. They come close to each other smiling. Asha Parekh sits on a rough rocky incline and Pradeep Kumar joins her. Pradeep Kumar stands up and helps Asha Parekh to her feet too. They run toward 3 coconut trees and lean on 2 of them. They walk away from the coconut trees. The day sky is shown with white clouds again.

Pradeep Kumar is next seen paddling a boat and Asha Parekh is sitting opposite him. The video ends with the boat being propelled across the river.

Cultural Influence: This song again depicts the feelings of people deeply in love with each other. Usually, people would exchange the thoughts verbally. But, here the makers have featured a song. The song is very melodious and has been rendered so well by the singers. The video can be watched for the artists and the song.
